What is Neuropathy?
Neuropathy is a condition in which the peripheral nerves (the nerves in your body, aside from your spinal cord and brain) are damaged and/or not working properly. Rather than transmitting pain signals, they are the source of the pain signals. More than 10% of the population are affected by peripheral neuropathy, a symptom we see weekly at our Las Vegas Medical Clinic . The reason that so many people are affected is because of the unique architecture of the peripheral nervous system. All of the peripheral nerves have a macro-length; in other words, while the nucleus is located near the spinal cord, each (sensory) single nerve cell will stretch from its origin in the periphery (e.g. the great toe), approximately three feet to its end where it synapses with second order neurons in the spinal cord. Each nucleus synthesizes its own proteins, enzymes, etc. which are crucial to a single cell’s health and operation; it must supply the entire length of the cell. For perspective, if the nucleus were the size of Manhattan, the nerve would stretch all the way between New York City and Las Vegas.
More than 70-80% of peripheral neuropathy is caused by diabetes (insulin resistance) about 15% is due to chemotherapy, other toxins, alcohol, and viral infections and 5-10% have no known cause.
Most neuropathy treated at our clinic is peripheral, distal (in the extremities away from the center of the body) and symmetric (which means that the lumbar region is not likely the cause).
As those of you who have this difficult problem know, neuropathy is characterized by pain, numbness, sensory loss, hyperalgesia (pain with normal stimulus), allodynia (pain with not normally painful stimulus), most often starting in the feet and lower legs (the longest nerves), but also sometimes in the hands, arms and even the trunk. Neuropathy is also accompanied by a variety of uncomfortable feelings (dysesthesias, which are painful electric shocks), motor dysfunction and balance problems. Symptoms vary widely from person to person, but they can be quite debilitating and require walking aids. Contact our Las Vegas Neuropathy Medical Experts for a free consultation today.
What are the treatment options?
Until recently, there have been no effective treatment options except trying to manage diabetes and symptomatic pain control with drugs like pregabalin (Lyrica) and other narcotics with many side effects.
We can now quickly reverse diabetes and apply a very safe and effective FDA approved device that will not only help the pain but will promote nerve regeneration.
The Nobel Laureate, Edwin Schrodinger, proposed in 1943 that living matter at the cellular level can be thought of in terms of quantum mechanics – pure chemistry and pure physics’ which are smoothly running models of our view of the physical and biological worlds.
If we accept the concept that life is a molecular process that operates in accordance with the quantum theory, then all living cells interact with the quantum fields in their environment. This has led to the concept of “quantum resonance induction” which claims that electrical currents and electromagnetic fields induce and amplify subatomic particle movements and activity to create healing within cells.

Eternity Medicine here in Las Vegas has developed this safe and effective treatment for patients who suffer from all forms of neuropathy. The highly advanced electromedical device, manufactured in Germany by Sanexas, GmBH for RST/Sanexas, a local company, is far more advanced than common TENS devices with which many readers may be familiar. It operates with such a high degree of sophistication that nerves are not able to accommodate the signals, or “learn” and regress. Comparing a device delivering Electronic Signal Treatment (EST) to a “TENS” device is similar to comparing an MRI to an X-Ray.
A third focus of ours is to measure how well your mitochondria (the organelles in all your cells that help make your energy) are working in your body.
The unmyelinated small nerve fibers affected in neuropathy normally have very high concentrations of mitochondria. With diabetes and increased uric acid you lose mitochondria. Thus we need to increase the concentration of mitochondria to help repair the nerves. Eternity employs several therapies including far infrared to improve your mitochondria.
During the 12 week program at our Las Vegas Neuropathy facility you will come a couple times a week to the clinic where we will apply the neoGen electrical cell signaling. This is not only effective but is comfortable and has no side effects. During this time we will help you reverse your diabetes and improve your mitochondrial function.
Other Special Diagnostic Tests:

A. History
- What else could be the problem in addition to insulin resistance

B. Examination
- reflexes, dysesthesia, ANS involvement, ataxia

Diagnostics
- Neuroscan, Camera (thermal), ABI, Nerve Biopsy
The Healing Neuropathy Trinity

1. NeoGen-Electric Cell Signaling (ECS)
A wide variety of medical conditions have been successfully treated with electrical stimulation for more than 2,000 years. In ancient Greece electric eels were placed in foot baths to cure pain.
2. Enhance Mitochondrial Function

1. The single best therapy for mitochondria it to reverse “insulin resistance”

Monitoring Reversing Neuropathic Pain
- A simple self report “pain scale” is recorded every month
- Other subjective data is collected in the Diabetes Journal.
- The single most important goal is to reverse “insulin resistance” and restore metabolic flexibility. A simple blood test can be repeated every 3 months (calculate the IRS)
- Body fat should be <20% for a male and less than 30% for a female.
- All elements should be followed using the INTEGRAL HEALTH MODEL.
