Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the inability of a man to maintain an erection sufficient for satisfying sexual activity. The physiology of erections is complex, involving contributions from vascular, hormonal, neurological, and lifestyle factors. We recognize that ED is strongly associated with the risk of cardiovascular disease, and like the “canary in a coal mine,” ED can serve as an early warning sign of impending problems, often appearing 4–5 years before a cardiac event.
ED is primarily caused by vascular issues, often due to atherosclerosis of the penile artery. Like many chronic diseases, it is driven by insulin resistance. Given that 73% of adults in the USA have some form of vascular resistance and that testosterone and hormone levels have dropped by 54% over the past four decades, it is not surprising that 50% of men over the age of 50 have ED, with rates increasing to 85-90% as men age.
Eternity Medicine’s Las Vegas based program offers a variety of treatment options, delivered in two stages depending on the severity of the ED.

Stage One:
- Reverse diabetes and obesity
- Hormone therapy
- Select pharmaceuticals
- Bioregulators
- Select peptides
- Nutraceuticals
- Psychological counseling

Stage Two:
- Electrical cell signaling
- Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT)
- PRP and Umbilical Tissue
- Stem cells
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the inability of a man to maintain an erection sufficient for satisfying sexual activity. Many men, especially older than 60, can experience episodes of ED.
The physiology of erections is complex, with contributions from vascular, hormonal, psychological, and neurological components. We recognize that ED is strongly associated with cardiovascular risk factors and functions like a “canary in a coal mine.”
Above the age of 50, the likelihood of having difficulty with erections occurs in more than 50% of men with diabetes. In fact, above the age of 70, there is about a 95% likelihood of having erectile dysfunction.
Today, modern medicine offers a wide variety of treatment options that are safe and can be personalized to help promote the repair of existing blood vessels and the creation of new, healthy blood vessels, resulting in improved blood flow. This is key to preventing ED and preventing a cardiac event. The link between ED and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) was first described by Italian researchers in 2003 in a study of 300 men presenting with acute chest pain and CAD. The prevalence of ED in the cohort study was 49%, and in 70% of those men, the onset of ED occurred in the 40 months preceding their diagnosis of CAD. Penile arteries are smaller (1-2 mm in diameter) than the larger coronary arteries (3-4 mm in diameter), which is probably why they provide warning signs of CAD.
All men with ED and diabetes CAN be evaluated with a simple non-invasive radiological test that provides an accurate assessment of their heart’s blood vessels to help prevent a cardiac event. This is called a Coronary Calcium (CAC) test.
We pride ourselves on a “whole person” approach focused on the root cause of ED, especially in reversing Diabesity together with several novel treatments that have been developed more recently. Every man with diabetes can have his ED reversed!
It is important that men realize that ED is the “canary in the coal mine” and often indicates that they may have heart disease. By following our 4 Week Diabesity Cure, we are able to take men off their medication, including insulin, and reverse 22 out of 26 risk factors for heart disease. In addition, we will reverse any fatty liver disease and other Cardio-Metabolic diseases at our Las Vegas ED clinic.
Step 1 MEASURE
- History
- Examination at our Las Vegas ED clinic
- Diagnostics (includes blood tests, imaging, body fat, and other tests)
Step 2 MENTOR
- We provide you with your own Diabesity CGM to track your progress and provide you with the information to begin to reverse your diabesity. We also introduce you to a combination of therapies tailored to your particular problem including oral medications, injectable drugs, vacuum devices, acoustic wave therapy, P-shot, hormones, peptides, pellets, and stem cell treatments.
Step 3 MONITOR
- We track your progress to be sure that our Las Vegas based ED program is working and that your ED is resolving.

ED Therapy

1: Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT)
Weekly treatments with AWT at our Las Vegas ED clinic are one of the safest ways to improve blood flow to the penis. Through mild shear stress, AWT triggers a series of biological reactions that result in the release of angiogenic factors. It promotes the repair of existing blood vessels and the creation of new blood vessels.
2: Hormone Therapy
Testosterone is one of the key treatments for those men with Diabesity. Every diabetic man is low in testosterone. The “free testosterone index (FTI)” is the ratio of the concentration of total testosterone divided by the concentration of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). Only unbound or “free” testosterone is biologically active. Clomid and HCG also raise testosterone.
