This book is an excellent guide to the proper management of insulin resistance and the medical conditions that it causes. It teaches three critically important lessons.
First that once upon a time, humans were healthier than we are today.
Second, that our health began to deteriorate when we started to eat a full diet of processed foods, high in carbohydrates and including excessive amounts of sugar, refined flour and vegetable oils.
Third, our return to health requires that we realize that it is what we eat that determines how well we live and indeed, how and from what conditions we die.
So it is logical that for our health we should focus our attention on what we eat. And understand that pharmaceutical medications, however expensive, cannot reverse the effects of a bad diet.
The choice really is our own. In your hands, you hold the key to your future health. I wish you a long and healthy life.
