Global Problem

52% of Americans have diabetes or pre-diabetes as reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association in September 2015. In places like the Middle-East and India this figure is closer to 65%.

Peter Cleave and John Yudkin, two of the most famous British researchers in the 1960’s suggested that sugar caused not only diabetes and heart disease but the entire cluster of chronic disease we see today. The prime cause of this “disease of civilization” is insulin resistance and most doctors do not know how to treat this chronic disease. Big Pharma has not helped resolve the problem. In fact two leading authorities commenting on how traditional medicine is practiced today: –

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.”

Marcia Angell MD
(Long time Editor in Chief NEJM)

“Most of the peer reviewed published trial articles are misleading, exaggerated, and often flat-out wrong. As much as 90 percent of the published medical information that doctors rely on is deeply flawed.”
